Eng. Atif Al Siyabi
Chairman

Eng. Atif Al Siyabi’s name immediately brings to mind the information technology sector and the development of groundbreaking technological solutions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Networks with honours from Coventry University, UK. He is the Chief of Information Management in Oman Investment Authority. He has extensive experience spanning more than 18 years.

Mr. Said Al Aufi
Deputy Chairman

Said Al-Aufi is CEO of Mars Development & Investment (MDI), he is responsible for managing a multi-asset class portfolio in the financial services, Fintech, technology and commodities sectors. Before joining MDI, Said worked in the Asset Allocation and Business Strategy team in Oman Investment Authority. Said has a Double Degree in Commercial Law & Banking and Finance from Monash University in Australia, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He has also completed several executive management programs in the areas of executive leadership, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Fintech, Artifical Intelligence, Internet of Things (IOT) and Venture Capital. MDI is an investment company that invests in and manages investments in multiple sectors, namely financial services, Fintech, technology with a focus on Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and telecommunication both locally and internationally. The ultimate goal is to generate direct and indirect value to the Sultanate of Oman through economic development, knowledge transfer, technological advancement, and socioeconomic development. Currently, Said is a board member in a number of companies in the financial services, technology, and telecommunications sectors.

Dr. Nasser Al Fanna

Dr Nasser Mohammed Al-Fannah serves as Acting Deputy Director General of the National Centre for Space, Advanced Technology and AI, and as Director of the Technology Programs Office at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT). In these roles, he drives major national initiatives, most notably the National Program for Digital Economy, Oman’s flagship technology transformation initiative. His career spans nearly two decades across government, academia and industry. He began in the private sector as a systems developer with Oman Investment and Finance Company (OIFC) before transitioning to academia, where he progressed through academic ranks and eventually served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS). During his time in academia, he also led the Technology Transfer Office, supporting innovation and intellectual property development. Since joining MTCIT in 2022, he has overseen major national technology programs and strategic emerging technology initiatives. Dr Nasser holds a PhD in information security from Royal Holloway, University of London in the UK, and a master’s in computer security from Edith Cowan University in Australia. He also holds a portfolio of recognised professional certifications across cybersecurity, emerging technologies, innovation and digital skills.

With over 18 years of experience, Sulaiman brings expertise in the ICT sector dynamics, including regulation, strategy, and investment, driving value creation and diversification initiatives.

Mrs. Wafaa Al Amri

Mrs. Wafaa Ahmed Al Amri is a Director in the Board of Directors of ITHCA Group since 2022 and a member of the Board’s Investment Committee and the Board’s Audit Committee. Mrs Wafaa was previously a Senior Manager Financial Planning and Budgeting inOman Investment Authority. She also held many managerial position in Accounting and Assets valuation department withing OIA over almost twenty years’ experience. Shewas as a board member of several investment companies in in/outside Oman.
Mrs holds a B.Sc. in Business with a major in Accounting from Sultan Qaboos University as well as fellowships of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

Mr. Al Mutasim Al Sariri

With over 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors, Al Mutasim Al Sariri has a diverse skill set includes partnership development, business planning, project management, communication, sustainability, corporate affairs, and SME Development. Currently serving as the director of In-Country Value (ICV) at Oman Investment Authority, he plays a role in driving economic growth through the implementation of ICV strategies, Research, Development, and Innovation initiatives, as well as Social Investment across OIA Companies.

In addition to his role at Oman Investment Authority, Al Mutasim holds a position as a board member in Omran Group and various committees focusing on Research, Development, and Innovation, Industrial Development and Offset Programs. He has a bachelor degree in economics from Sultan Qaboos University and attended a Postgraduate Diploma Certificate in Sustainable Business from Cambridge University.

Dr. Mohab Al Hinai

Mohab Ali Al Hinai is a sustainability enthusiast with almost 20 years of experience in the fields of R&D and technology assessment. Dr. Al-Hinai is currently the Vice President of Sustainability and Circular Economy at the Oman Environmental Services Holding Company “be’ah”, a sovereign wealth fund – owned enterprise. He is also a co-founder of Sustainable Investments LLC, an Omani firm that focuses on making Sustainable Development and ESG principles at the forefront in Oman and the MENA region through sustainable investing and ESG advisory. Mohab holds a BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from Sultan Qaboos University and Northwestern University, respectively, and later went on to earn a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Delaware. He also holds professional certificates from Harvard Business School and the University of California, Berkeley as well as participating in the National Collaborative Leadership Program that was organized by the Royal Academy of Management, Oman in collaboration with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford and IMD.
