oman’s government has identified ithca group as a key component of the sultanate’s long-term economic development strategy (as part of vision 2040), as it is involved in playing a crucial role in sustainable national development, modernization and globalization of the economy, and creating the perfect conditions for the optimal participation of all sectors. with that vision, ithca came to be at the forefront of the ict sector development in oman, by creating the synergies between various entities, aligning its portfolio with the national ict strategy and filling the gaps where the local private sector is not able to engage or is not yet ready to accomplish. ithca is also focused on ensuring oman’s economy’s capability to embrace and develop the 4th industrial revolution technologies as they will be of high importance in the near future and will be contributing to the nation’s future welfare and foster economic growth.
